at the sitting held on June 22nd, 2007 established the following:

There were 525 artists from 51 countries who submitted 1947 works for VII International Graphic Competition for Ex libris, GLIWICE 2007. After thorough examination of the submitted works with respect to the competition regulation requirements, the jury:

• Accepted 1877 works for the competition.

• Did not accept 70 works of 29 artists not meeting the competition regulation requirements.

• Qualified for the post-competition exhibition 536 ex-librises of 287 artists from 40 countries.

• Nominated 36 artists for the awards:

• Equal commendations, honourable diplomas and medals of the Municipal Public Library in Gliwice were granted to the following artists:

• The Award of the Director of the Municipal Public Library in Gliwice for the best ex-libris dedicated to the Library is granted to: Elżbieta RADZIKOWSKA – Poland.

• The Jury decided that the awards giving ceremony and the opening of the post-competition exhibition shall be held on September 28th in the Municipal Public Library in Gliwice, Branch at Pl. Inwalidów Wojennych 3.

The Jury members’ works, submitted for the competition, will be presented off-competition.
