Srdečně vás zveme na komentovanou prohlídku výstavy, která se uskuteční v úterý 17. února od 17.00 hodin.
Výstava Čtyři v obraze a jeden ve vaně představuje pět výrazných osobností Fakulty designu a umění Ladislava Sutnara, které stály u jejích počátků nebo se k nim následně brzy připojily. Jsou to umělci, kteří dlouhodobě formují podobu školy, její pedagogický i tvůrčí charakter – Mikoláš Axmann, Boris Jirků, Karel Míšek, Josef Mištera a Benedikt Tolar. Ačkoliv se jejich tvorba liší výrazem, technikou i zaměřením, spojuje je zásadní vliv na vývoj fakulty i české výtvarné scény.

The exhibition Four in the Picture and One in the Bathtub presents five prominent figures from the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art who were there at its inception or joined it soon after. These are artists who have long shaped the school’s image, its pedagogical and creative character – Mikoláš Axmann, Boris Jirků, Karel Míšek, Josef Mištera, and Benedikt Tolar. Although their work differs in expression, technique, and focus, they are united by their fundamental influence on the development of the faculty and the Czech art scene.
